Booking Agreement (Terms and Conditions)

 

This agreement is made between Charlotte Woodley – Make Up Artist and the client as detailed in the confirmation email, which forms part of the contract. Any changes to the booking (such as, but not limited to dates, locations and number of clients) must be made in writing/email and agreed with Charlotte Woodley – Make Up Artist.

 

If the client enters into a new agreement with a new make-up artist, then Charlotte Woodley – Make Up Artist has no legal responsibility or on-going liability to the client in connection with the booking.

 

Booking Procedure and Deposit

 

Charlotte Woodley – Make Up Artist will hold provisional bookings confirmed by telephone/email/facebook message.

 

The appointment will become final upon the safe receipt of the confirmation email and deposit, which is $100 NZD or amount arrange by Charlotte Woodley. The deposit is on top of final makeup balance paid 1 week before wedding date. Charlotte Woodley – Make Up Artist will acknowledge receipt of the deposit via email and confirming the final booking. The remaining balance is then paid 1 week before wedding date, along with the travel/call-out charge if applicable or any other extra makeup products purchased.

 

In the event that the booking deposit is not received by Charlotte Woodley – Make Up Artist then the provisional booking will lapse and the date will become available to another client. If the deposit is received late then the date will still be made available to the client if it has not been booked by another client.

 

The booking deposit must be received within 72 hours of receipt of the deposit request email in order to reserve the date. The payment will be made in to the bank account of Charlotte Woodley, instructions will be given to client via email.

 

The deposit is non-refundable or transferable.

 

If the client wishes to alter the booked date, the deposit paid for the original date is non-refundable or transferable, unless specifically agreed by Charlotte Woodley – Make Up Artist

Due to the current situation with Covid-19, if our country goes into a lockdown where you are not allowed to have your wedding on your specified date due to government restrictions. I will transfer wedding booking to a new date, if that date is not going to work with other bookings i will refund deposit.

 

If your wedding date is changed due to "change of mind/circumstances" and New Zealand does not have any lock down restrictions in that region that permit me from doing my job, i will not refund deposit.

 

Payment

 

The final balance of the payment is due the week before the wedding via internet banking or via cash/eftpos on the day of the wedding - unless another arrangement has been agreed on Charlotte Woodley.

 

It is strongly recommended that a trial appointment is booked to agree a style and procedure for the wedding day. Trial appointments are charged separately and payment is required either in advance or is to be made directly to Charlotte Woodley – Make Up Artist on the day of the appointment by cash/internet banking. Several Make-up looks may be tried at the trial appointment(s) until the client chooses their preferred style and make-up for the wedding day.

 

Any requested changes after the initial trial date may result in a further trial appointment for which an additional charge will be made.

If the client is unhappy or dissatisfied in any way with the service supplied prior to or during the trial then she must notify Charlotte Woodley – Make Up Artist immediately or within 24 hours of the trial appointment. Further services may be supplied entirely at the discretion of Charlotte Woodley – Make Up Artist.

 

Travel Charges

 

Travel charges may vary depending on location. Travel is charged at $1.5 per km. Travel charges cover petrol and travelling to and from the wedding location. There is a $50 call out fee for Geraldine within a 10km radius of 10 George Street

A charge of $1.5 per km will also be applied when Charlotte Woodley – Make Up Artist travels to carry out a wedding trial, with the minimum travel call out fee being $50, unless otherwise agreed with Charlotte Woodley – Make Up Artist. Alternatively, trial appointments can take place at 10 George Street Geraldine or ILU Day Spa, Geraldine or 1 St Andrew Street, Geraldine or clients home (costs apply) where travel fees will not be applicable/or unless previously discussed with Charlotte Woodley – Make Up Artist.

 

 

Cancellations

 

Wedding Trial Cancellations

 

If a client has booked a trial through Charlotte Woodley – Make Up Artist and wishes to cancel or amend the appointment, this should done within 48 hours of making the initial appointment/ Or before 5 days of the appointment date. Notification should be given by email or telephone.

 

Wedding Booking Cancellations

 

If for some reason you need to cancel your booking, this should be confirmed by email or telephone as soon as possible.

School Formal Cancellations

 

We understand that special circumstances are unavoidable and a cancellation may be necessary. If you find yourself unable to keep an appointment, we kindly request 24 hours notice. This courtesy enables us to schedule another client.

If we do not receive 24 hours notification of cancellation, rescheduling or you just don’t show up to an appointment we reserve the right to charge 50% of your treatment booked as a cancellation fee.

Wedding Cancellations will be non-refundable or transferable unless Charlotte Woodley Make Up can get a replacement booking or there is a valid reason which will be decided if acceptable by Charlotte Woodley Make Up Artist.

 

It is the responsibility of the client when booking and paying the deposit to secure Charlotte Woodley – Make Up Artist for their wedding day appointment.
